General Service Technician – $17–$20 Per Hour

AutoMed is looking for a dependable General Service Technician who takes pride in doing things correctly and wants the opportunity to grow in the automotive industry.

This is not just an oil-change position. You’ll handle general maintenance and repairs while working alongside experienced technicians who can help you continue developing your skills.

Responsibilities include:

Oil and filter changes.
Tire rotations, mounting, balancing and flat repairs.
Basic brake repairs.
Wheel alignments.
Completing digital vehicle inspections with clear photos and accurate notes.
Test-driving vehicles as directed.
Taking customers home locally when needed.
Moving and staging vehicles.
Keeping your work area and the shop clean and organized.
Following AutoMed’s quality-control procedures on every vehicle.

What we’re looking for:

Dependable and ready to work.
Strong attention to detail.
Able to follow procedures and complete work correctly.
Comfortable working with computers or tablets.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Automotive experience is preferred, but we will consider someone with strong mechanical ability and the right attitude.
Basic hand tools are preferred.
Willingness to learn and grow into a higher-level technician.

Compensation:

$17–$20 per hour, based on experience and ability.
Full-time position.
Paid time off earned at one hour for every 40 hours worked.
90-day performance and pay review.
